Stereo and audio technology

have come a very long way

since this all started out

almost 100 years ago now with vacuum tube

radios and eventually stereos

and quadraphonic sound.

And, you know, lead up to what

we have today.

A lot of us with smart

speakers have stepped back from stereo

and have gone back to mono.

But what is the technology

out there like today?

Can you still buy a boombox?

Would you still want to?

Does everybody just use smart speakers,

or do they even still have modern versions

that we used to have back in the 90s

and other times like that
