the holidays are right around the corner

:and they're coming up quickly.

:And it's going to be the time of year
where there's frantic shopping,

:looking at deals online and in stores,
and also the time of year

:the bad guys come out to try
to separate you from your money.

:As we get in a rush on the holiday season,
it's much easier to overlook things

:and get brought in by a scam.

:This happens every year and it's
not going to be any better this year.

:The best thing to do is to take the time
to keep an eye on what you're doing,

:even if you're in a hurry.

:If that email doesn't sound right,
if that deal seems too good to be true, or

:if that website seems off a little ways,
take these things into consideration.

:If you get an email that you need to pay
your bill, or the account's messed up

:or something like that,

:make sure you actually get Ahold

:of the company directly using contact
information from their website,

:and do not use anything in the email
you received,

:because that might connect you
to the scammers.
