If you use YouTube in any capacity,

you've probably seen on the platform

titles to videos that look like something

completely outrageous or something

completely different

than what the video is actually about,

and these are known as clickbait.

Sometimes these are just designed

to pull your eyes into the video,

and it does talk to some extent about what

the headline might claim and others

are completely out there.

YouTube is a platform is great

because anybody can post their material,

but with this also comes

the ability to post fake material or stuff

that is a little bit off

of what the reality might be.

And this causes

myths and rumors to go through.

And this clickbait type marketing is

used to get you to look at those videos.

YouTube just by doing a search and talking

about some ways where you can figure out

what's real and what's not.
