Rumors are flying around

that there is a new version

of Windows on the horizon

known as Windows 12.

And while this may not be a unique

naming campaign

for these things lately,

it does show that there is plans

to push out another version of the Windows

operating system after Windows 11.

Some of the rumors that have been

discussed include the idea of this being

a subscription operating system, whereby

maybe you have to pay a monthly fee

to be able to use your computer,

or maybe certain features of it,

and some of the other things that they're

talking about is that this may even bring

in stricter requirements

for what hardware it's able to run on.

So are we going to see

a whole bunch of hardware

going to e-waste again, like we did

between Windows 10 and Windows 11
